It was with deep sorrow that we learnt of the death of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh on 9th April. He passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle.
Condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and all her family at this very sad time,
We remember him with affection and gratitude for his support to the Queen, his sense of humour and dedication to his duties. Many young people are especially thankful for his initiation of The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, work with wildlife and the Armed Forces.
The flag is flying at half-mast and will remain so until Sunday, the day ater his funeral which is Saturday at 3pm when a National minutes silence will be held.
Due to Covid restrictions we have been requested not to open books of condolence but messages can be left on the website www.royal.uk
RIP, Prince Philip.
These will be updated with any new notifications received.
